How does Asian handicap betting work?

Essentially, your stake is split between two different handicap numbers. For example, with a line such as AC Milan PK, -½ +110, if you wager $100 on AC Milan, $50 is placed on PK +110 and the other $50 on -½ +110.

If the match ends in a draw, the PK portion of the bet is a push (your $50 is refunded), while the -½ portion is a loss.

If AC Milan wins by exactly one goal, then both bets win.
